About me

During my time working as a clinical psychologist in the NHS and private practice I have worked with many individuals, couples and families struggling with various life challenges. This has given me valuable insight into the human mind and behaviour, and how we can thrive and reach our potential in life.

My approach to therapy:

It takes a great deal of strength to seek help and to begin to work through personal difficulties. I take great care to provide a supportive and confidential space, in which I can listen to your concerns without judgment, and work with you to help you to overcome your difficulties.

Perhaps you are looking for support in dealing with a specific mental health concern like anxiety or depression, or perhaps you are looking for support in finding a greater sense of balance in your life or in creating a richer, more meaningful life for yourself. Regardless of the issue, as a clinical psychologist, I am experienced in a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), which I draw in my work. I am experienced in working with adults, young people and children.

My own personal struggles, such as dealing with bereavement, navigating married life and learning to be a mother, have helped me to learn first-hand how difficult life can be. I know what it’s like to feel inadequate, to feel overwhelmed by difficult emotions, and to get stuck in unhelpful patterns. So, along with my extensive clinical training and experience, I  have a wealth of personal experience of applying evidence-based methods and techniques which I hope to share with you. 


My belief

The difficulties that we encounter in life can help to shine a light on the areas of our life that are not working for us.

They give us an opportunity to make different choices and create a life in line with our values.
